Three Deals That Will Happen

It looks as if the NFL Lockout will be coming to a close at some point this week. Pretty soon after that, free agency and training camps will begin. Here are three deals that I expect to happen via free agency or trade.

1. Kevin Kolb soars to the Seahawks : Most people believe that Kolb will end up elsewhere in the NFC West. However, I believe that Seattle's quarterback situation is worse than Arizona's if Matt Hasselbeck does not return. Seattle would start Charlie Whitehurst, who has only started one NFL game and did not look great. Kevin Kolb could help the Seahawks contend in a division that is below average at best. I would expect that Seattle would give up their 2012 1st Rd pick and either an additional player or pick in exchange for Kolb.

2. Asomugha takes his talents to Tampa : Unfortunately, I do believe that once the lockout is over, Aqib Talib's time as a Buccaneer will be up. Due to frequent arrests, I would expect Talib to be either released or traded. Nnamdi Asomugha would fit right in to Tampa's defense and mesh with their young core. The Buccaneers believe that they are good enough to make it to the playoffs, and Asomugha may be the final piece that gets them there.

3. DeAngelo Williams heads to Denver : It seems perfect doesn't it. John Fox is now coaching the Broncos, who dearly need a running back. In fact, a report came out last week that the Broncos #1 goal in free agency is to acquire a running back. John Fox would employ a two back system featuring Williams and former 1st Rd pick, Knowshon Moreno. Moreno has underperformed thus far and probably needs a second back to help him carry the load.

  2. In my opinion:
    Kevin Kolb - Arizona
Nnamdi Asomugha - Houston Texans or Philadelphia Eagles
    DeAngleo Williams - Miami Dolphins
